Teacher Prospectus

Lafour Dance and Drama Schools have established dance and drama within top Health and Fitness clubs throughout the UK, offering RAD Ballet - age 3 to Majors; ISTD Modern and Tap ages 5 plus; and drama/musical theatre sessions for 4-6 year olds and 7-9 year olds.

Prospective Teacher Profile

The applicant should be a teacher who is not only keen to achieve a good technical standard and enter students regularly for accredited examinations, but also be able to provide inspiring and motivating classes which students of all ages look forward to and enjoy.

You should therefore....

Be qualified or be willing to qualify in either RAD or ISTD dance syllabi.


Have a desire to initiate and expand a dance academy offering an examination system through which pupils can progress.


Be able to offer professional dance training to Health Club members and their children.


Be capable of both teaching children of all ages and dealing with parents.




Be motivated, innovative, creative, imaginative and enthusiastic

Training

Some technical training will be provided by Lafour. This will include teaching practices and sharing of ideas. RAD and ISTD syllabi will only be offered on an occasional basis or as part of individual assessments.

You will work as part of a team and receive support from Lafour personnel and other Lafour teachers

Lafour arrange annual teacher training days/seminars free of charge
