Throughout 1978 through 1980 while I was with The Chordets, Derek and I became involved with many short-term band projects and we wrote loads of songs together. Some were....
Funky Vera tried to relive the days of Dave Knowle's Henwick nights with
Tim Bay (drums) and Derek Simmonds (keyboards).
Between The Sheets called upon Newbury musicians Paul Trubridge (bass),
Terry Brown (vocals) Jim Johnson (keyboards), Nigel Reveller (drums) and Simon Curry (sax).
Skates was a band we knocked up with John Skates and Jeff Skates to play a single gig at The Target in Reading
I also did some freelance 'depping' with other bands including Catch 22,
The
Savanah Showband, Bismuth, The Sobrannie Sound, Chuckleberry Pie, and The Sunset Showband
